Cyclists have dominated the vote in recent years, winning every year since 2003. Kim Kirchen has won the title five times, with Fränk Schleck winning in 2006 and Andy last year. The title, as well as that for female athlete and team of the year, was awarded December 9 at the Casino 2000 in Bad Mondorf.
